Max Hodgetts lighting cameraman welcome

I'm a freelance lighting cameraman with over 22 years experience in filming corporate and broadcast television. Working with a multitude of broadcasters and independent production companies, filming around the UK as well as many parts of the world.

My main discipline is P.S.C. in both location and studio, and have experience in live television camera work in both studio and outside broadcasts.

I'm no stranger to filming HD, in both tape and tapeless acquisition over the last 8 years, and with a vast knowledge of P2 or SxS tapeless camera card systems, I can advise from setup and filming, through to help with edit ingest.

I am a owner of a Sony PMW-500 camera.

I have a main base near Tring, Buckinghamshire, facilitating filming in and around London and the home counties,

and a second base out of Birmingham.

I am proud to have been part of the live OB camera team on Springwatch from 2004 to 2010; awarded a 2011 BAFTA Craft Special Award in recognition of its outstanding creative and technical teamwork both behind camera and online.
